LYCOAT® Hydroxypropyl pea starch offers film forming and coating properties in various oral dosage forms in both pharmaceutical and nutraceutical applications. Our offering consists of various grades depending on molecular weight and solubility in cold or hot water. It is designed for aqueous processes and immediate release. These excipients can also be used as a binder in wet granulation processes.
LYCOAT® can be used as a coating or film forming agent in all kinds of tablets, hard capsules, soft capsules and orally dissolving films. It can also be used as a binder in granules or tablets.
