Description
Thickening and gelling agent
The AQUAPOL line of “Acrylates polymers” is a synthetic high molecular weight cross-linked water-soluble polymer of acrylic acid. The cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and home industries all use it extensively. It comes as a liquid or powder and is soluble in water, alcohol, and glycols. The pH of an AQUAPOL grade solution ranges from 2.5 to 3.0 before neutralization.
AQUAPOL® SF-1
AQUAPOL® SF-1 is a lightly cross-linked acrylic polymer with 30% dispersion. AQUAPOL® SF-1 polymer is an acrylic emulsion having the ability to suspend, stabilize, thicken and enhance the appearance of high surfactant-based cleansing products. It is mainly used for clear formulation containing high levels of Surfactants. AQUAPOL® SF-1 also enhances the pearlescent appearance of the surfactant-based formulation.
