Description
Barcroft ™ Magaldrate Fluid Gel (10%)
Barcroft magaldrate fluid gel containing 10% magaldrate concentration. Magaldrate (Al5Mg10(OH)31(SO4)2·xH2O) is basic aluminum and magnesium compound with unique crystalline layer structure connected by water and sulfate bridges. This structure results in high reactivity and rapid acid neutralization. Neutralizes gastric acid very quickly while buffering pH between 5-6 even in presence of proteins and pepsin. Can adsorb large quantities of bile acids, preventing them from attacking mucous membranes. Pumpable gel is easy to handle and suitable for creating various finished product dosages. Used for treating peptic ulcers and providing immediate antacid relief.
Barcroft ™ Magaldrate Fluid Gel (20%)
Barcroft magaldrate fluid gel with 20% magaldrate concentration for high-strength antacid formulations. The higher concentration allows wider range of finished product dosages and reduced product usage per dose. Magaldrate’s unique crystalline layer structure provides exceptional reactivity and rapid gastric acid neutralization. Maintains pH buffering between 5-6 even in presence of proteins and pepsin. Highly effective for treating peptic ulcers due to fast acid neutralization and bile acid adsorption properties. Pumpable gel format enables easy handling with standard equipment. More concentrated formulations allow for smaller dose volumes and cost-effective manufacturing.
