Description

Glycerol can be used in a wide variety of solid, semi-solid and liquid formulations, including ophthalmic, oral solid and oral liquid dosages, tablet coatings, creams and gels. It is applied for its humectant, emollient, solvent/cosolvent, viscosity increasing, and plasticizer properties.

Glycerol anhydrous (vegetable) Emprove® Expert features low microbial and endotoxin limits which makes it especially suitable for high-risk applications. In addition, it is supported by the Emprove® Program and documentation, helping to minimize regulatory and quality-associated risks in biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
