Kolliwax^® CA is a C16 alcohol. The material is wax-like and is supplied as white to almost white free-flowing micro pearls. It functions as an O/W co-emulsifier, structure-building consistency factor, aerosol foam stabilizer and viscosity regulator. The raw material base is coconut oil, palm kernal oil, palm oil and/or palm stearine. Used as matrix builder in suppository masses. Kolliwax^® CA is suitable for use in emulsions & creams, ointments and gels.
