Description

METHOCEL™ Premium LV products offer formulators a micro-thin glossy coating that is printable, hypo-allergenic, non-tacky, and compatible with pigments and dyes.

With their extreme versatility, METHOCEL™ premium LV products can be used as granulation binders in aqueous, hydroalcoholic or non-aqueous solvent systems.

  • Reduces the required compression force, an important factor in reducing wear and extending the life of tooling and compression equipment
  • Readily produce foams which can be used to reduce overall moisture exposure and form more reproducible granules with less time and energy

METHOCEL™ is Pharma Solutions’ premium family of water-soluble cellulose ethers for pharmaceutical innovation.

Unlike other water-soluble polymers, METHOCEL™ delivers multiple stand-out benefits, versatile properties and superior flexibility; including varying grades of methylcellulose (MC) or hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) polymers. Our cellulose ethers are suitable for a number of pharmaceutical formulations – including those requiring controlled-release, granulation binders, tablet coating, drug layering, capsule shell formers and rheology-modifiers for solutions and suspension. The portfolio is backed by 70+ years of continuous production globally and deep polymer expertise.

Product benefits:
