Description

plasdone™ povidones are a family of water-soluble polymers combining a unique set of properties for application in a wide variety of dosage forms.
plasdone™ K-29/32 is available as low nitrite: ≤100ppb with the nitrite results reported on the CoA.
plasdone™ K grades are commonly used as binders for the development of tablets, manufactured by wet or granulation, as well as direct compression.
plasdone™ K grades are also used in solid dispersion formulations to enhance the solubility of active pharmaceutical ingredients and increase bioavailability.
Ashland offers several grades with different molecular weight (the higher the number, the higher the molecular weight).
