polyplasdone™ INF-10

Description

polyplasdone™ is a family of superdisintegrants. They provide rapid disintegration and dissolution to oral solid dosage forms. polyplasdone™ particles are granular and porous compared with other superdisintegrants. The high surface area combined with unique chemistry results in high interfacial activity that enhances the dissolution of poorly water-soluble APIs. Ashland offers several grades with different particle sizes (Types A and B) and peroxide levels.
polyplasdone™ XL and polyplasdone™ XL-10 are available as low nitrite: ≤100ppb, with nitrite levels reported on the CoA.
polyplasdone™ Ultra grades provide the same high performance with very low peroxide levels.
