Description
Polyvinyl alcohol 40-88 is part of a portfolio of pharmaceutical grade polyvinyl alcohols of varying properties. This 40-88 grade is approximately 88% hydrolyzed and its 4% solution in water at room temperature shows a viscosity of approximately 40 mPas. All polyvinyl alcohol grades are fully synthetic and multi-compendial polymers. Applications include solid, liquid and semi-solid formulations.
