Super Refined™ Lauryl Lactate

Description

Super Refined™ Lauryl Lactate is a highly purified alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) ester product. While occasionally used as a surfactant in an emulsion, typical applications for lauryl lactate include emolliency and penetration enhancement in topical formulations. It can also be used as a solubiliser for hydrophobic molecules, such as poorly water soluble active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) while still remaining water soluble. It is a naturally derived, mild, and virtually odourless nonionic surfactant.
