Description
SweetPearl® Maltitol is a multifunctional excipient that can be used as a coating agent, filler and filler/binder. SweetPearl® powders provide high stability to your formulation thanks to high chemical stability and low hygroscopcicty.
SweetPearl® range offers you a choice between various particle size and density in order to meet your formulation needs in various oral dosage forms in both pharmaceutical and nutraceutical applications. In addition, Roquette’s Application and Research Laboratories have shown the advantages of SweetPearl® P 300 DC as a base for chewable and effervescent tablets made by direct compression.
As a polyol it allows you to formulate non-cariogenic, non-acidogenic and sugar-free formulations to address the widest patient population.
The SweetPearl® range can be used in swallowable tablets, chewable tablets, effervescent tablets, coatings and medicated confectionary.
