Description
Our sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (NaCMC) – TEXTURECEL™ – is a highly-purified rheology-modifier for water-based systems. Functioning as a thickener, stabilizer, binder or protective agent, it forms clear solutions in water at all temperatures and has exceptional water-binding properties.
TEXTURECEL™ provides multiple functionalities in many dosage forms – from oral solids, like granules and pellets, to powders and coatings for tablets. Due to its versatility, it can also be applied in topicals and semi-solid and liquid forms, including ointments, cream, gels, pastes, suspensions and emulsions; and wound care products, too.
In addition, TEXTURECEL™ is available in a variety of viscosity grades that differ in molecular weight, substitution and particle size. We can help you find a grade that meets your unique formulation needs.
