Hydroalcoholic Gel: A range of polymers to formulate with high level of ethanol

Daily hygiene helps to limit illness. Hydroalcoholic gels are mainly composed of high level of alcohol for its disinfecting properties. This high amount of alcohol can destabilize the gel decreasing viscosities, give a sticky touch and induce dehydrated skin due to frequent use. Addition of glycerin can prevent this phenomenon.

• gel texture of hydroalcoholic formulas: it makes it easy to use, not too runny during application

Formulation Ideas:

All these formulas contain more than 60% alcohol. SEPINEO™ polymers allow to incorporate high level of solvents, especially alcohol 95° and can obtain formulas with different viscosities and different rheological.
