polyplasdone™ crospovidone superdisintegrants are synthetic, insoluble, but rapidly swellable, crosslinked homopolymers of N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone. They provide rapid disintegration as well as drug solubilization and stabilization. It is also used for dispersing oral suspensions. polyplasdone™ ultra-10 crospovidone have significantly lower peroxide specifications compared to standard grades, representing the next generation of high-quality pharmaceutical excipients.
