Binder – Thickening agent – Stabilizer

PVP SANAQ® is a hygroscopic, amorphous powder, which is in medicaments (especially tablets) usually used as a binder and can affect the release of the drug into the body.
The crosslinked products controll the disintegration of the tablet.

Due to its amorphous structure PVP has no melting point, but a glass transition temperature, depending of the polymerisation between 110 and 180 °C.

PVP SANAQ® dissolves in water and in a variety of organic solvents.
