It is the agglomerated form of pharma grade Isomalt (EP, USP.NF, JP), that is ideal for direct compression tabletting. There is scientific evidence that galenIQ™ 721 can be used to compact probiotic microorganisms into a tablet form. Due to the fact that galenIQ™ requires only low compression forces, mechanical stress on the microorganisms is alleviated, and they retain their viability.

Furthermore stability studies were carried out in powder mixtures with Lactobacillus rhamnosus and galenIQ™. Results have shown that galenIQ™ 721 is a suitable carrier and tabletting filler-binder that can support the stability and viability of your probiotic formulation. And last, but not least, galenIQ™ 721 makes your probiotic supplement taste good.
