New treatment for adrenal insufficiency in children

Professor Richard Ross from the University of Sheffield explains in this video the problematics of children suffering from adrenal insufficiency and the new treatment developed with the partners in the TAIN project. It is the first successfully developed effective treatment option for the rare disease, paediatric adrenal insufficiency (AI), taking it from bench to bedside through an EU grant. The product is marketed by Diurnal under the name Alkindi (development name Infacort).
