Some examples for skin delivery include spot-ons, pour-ons, and intramammary suspensions. For oral products, soft chews, tablets, oral pastes, and drinking water medications are formulated with lipid excipients. In injectable products, safe solvents and solubilizers are used in solutions or suspensions. With a proven track record in veterinary medicine, these excipients are used in formulations for both companion and food-producing animals.
