Gattefossé announces the inauguration of its new premises and Technical Center of Excellence in Mumbai, India

A new expanded state-of-the-art application laboratory

This center brings together pharmaceutical and personal care application laboratories.

The mission of the Technical Center of Excellence is to support local customers and generate innovative applications for Gattefossé excipients based on an informed perception of Indian, regional, and global needs that would act as a valuable resource to the industry.

Laboratory projects are dedicated to advise customers on trouble shooting and provide ready-to-use guidelines for using Gattefossé excipients. For pharmaceuticals, this Indian FDA accredited laboratory focuses on sustained release formulations, bioavailability enhancement and topical applications. For personal care, the laboratory develops cosmetic products and specific formulas for skincare, haircare, suncare, and color cosmetics to meet local needs and trends.

Various workshops, lipid schools, texture showcase and seminars are organized by Gattefossé experts to share knowledge.

Sustainability and certification: new green premises

As sustainability is central to our expansion plan, this construction project aligns perfectly with our longterm growth strategy and our CSR approach, Gatt’Up & Act, addressing both environmental and market needs sustainably.

Gattefossé India’s new facilities are sustainably designed, achieving IGBC (Indian Green Building Council) Platinum Certification for energy efficiency, resource conservation, and waste management.

Additionally, the premises have earned WELL Certification for their focus on enhancing the health and well-being of occupants, with features that improve air quality, lighting, and overall indoor environmental quality.

Official inauguration on November 15th 2024

Consul General of France, Mr. Jean-Marc SÉRÉ-CHARLET, has officially inaugurated the new facilities on Friday, November 15th, 2024, during a ceremony at the Taj Trees Ballroom in Mumbai.

The event took place in the presence of Mrs. Ségolène MOYRAND-GROS, President of Gattefossé Group, Mr. Eduardo DE PURGLY, CEO, Mr. Jérôme DELANNOY, International Development Director, Mrs. Paula Lennon, Personal Care Director, Mr .Alexandre Gil, Pharmaceutical Group Director, Mrs. Nelly VINCENT, Communications Group Director, and Mr. Sunil BAMBARKAR, Managing Director of Gattefossé India as well as other dignitaries from prestigious organizations of global reputation in the pharmaceutical and personal care industries.
