Key Benefits

  • Lower Moisture Uptake: PureCoat® MPS-D demonstrated significantly lower moisture uptake than Hypromellose-coated and methaacrylate based products under high humidity conditions (75% and 95%)
  • Lesser Loss on Drying (LOD): The PureCoat® MPS-D coated specimens showed lesser LOD at 105°C compared to other coatings, indicating superior moisture barrier properties.
  • WVTR Performance: Solvent casted films (at << 3 mm thickness) of PureCoat® MPS-D demonstrated significantly lesser WVTR values (about 160 g water/m².d) than Hypromellose- coated (about 900 g water/ m².d) and Methaacrylate based product (≈200 g water/m².d).
