MEDELPHARM invites you to visit them at the CPHI in Frankfurt 2025:
As CPHI Frankfurt 2025 draws near, MEDELPHARM & KORSCH are pleased to join their partner Armor Pharma – Groupe Savencia at booth 8.0L82. Following their successful collaboration at CPHI Milan 2024, the two companies continue to show how pairing advanced compaction technology with high-quality excipients can help speed up tablet formulation development.
Excipient manufacturers such as Armor Pharma play a critical role in determining the performance of tablet formulations, and the need for robust, actionable data has never been greater. MEDELPHARM’s STYL’One Nano Compaction Simulator allows both formulators and excipient suppliers to evaluate excipient performance in real tableting conditions, generate meaningful data to support formulation development, and highlight the value of excipients and APIs in solid dosage forms.

At CPHI Frankfurt, MEDELPHARM will utilize the STYL’One Nano Compaction Simulator to conduct live demonstrations featuring Armor Pharma’s direct compression lactose grades, EXCIPRESS™ GR150 and EXCIPRESS™ SD2L. EXCIPRESS™ GR150 is a granulated lactose known for its excellent compaction properties, good flowability, and blending characteristics, making it suitable for direct compression applications. EXCIPRESS™ SD2L is a spray-dried lactose that combines very good flowability with excellent compressibility, also tailored for direct compression processes. By profiling these grades on the STYL’One Nano, attendees can observe a side-by-side comparison of their performance metrics, such as tensile strength, compaction energy, and ejection force, aiding in informed excipient selection for tablet formulation.
At Armor Pharma’s booth, visitors can watch live STYL’One Nano demonstrations using EXCIPRESS™ GR150 and EXCIPRESS™ SD2L. The tablets produced during the demonstration will contain plant seeds, which attendees can take home to grow and support biodiversity and pollinator health. This fun approach shows that science and innovation can be both educational and enjoyable.

The collaboration between excipient manufacturers and equipment suppliers like MEDELPHARM & KORSCH offers clear advantages for both sides. Excipient manufacturers gain valuable insights into the tabletability, compressibility, and flow behavior of their products under realistic tableting conditions, allowing them to better understand how their materials perform in practical applications. At the same time, formulators benefit from data-driven guidance, giving them confidence in excipient selection, blending strategies, and overall formulation design.
This synergy ultimately strengthens the link between material science and process technology, ensuring faster research and development cycles, more reliable scale-up predictions right from the R&D stage, and optimized tablet formulations.
As CPHI Frankfurt 2025 draws near, MEDELPHARM & KORSCH are pleased to join their partner Armor Pharma – Groupe Savencia at booth 8.0L82.
On booth 8.0L82, MEDELPHARM experts Quentin Boulay and Bruno Leclercq will be available to discuss tablet formulation challenges, share insights from live compaction simulations, and demonstrate how the STYL’One Nano can provide actionable data for excipient performance evaluation. Armor Pharma’s team will present their portfolio of direct compression lactose grades, allowing visitors to directly discuss tablet formulation projects.

In addition to MEDELPHARM’s collaboration with Armor Pharma, visitors can also find the company alongside its parent KORSCH on booth 9.0F16. Here, the latest KORSCH X 5 production press will be showcased together with MEDELPHARM’s STYL’One Evo Compaction Simulator, offering attendees the opportunity to explore how advanced R&D and production technologies work hand in hand to support efficient and scalable solid dosage development.
From CPHI Milan 2024 to Frankfurt 2025, MEDELPHARM and Armor Pharma continue to show that combining excipient expertise with advanced compaction tools is key to optimizing solid dosage development. Attendees are invited to experience live demonstrations, gain practical insights, and discover how this collaboration can support their formulation and development objectives.
